Ready-to-use antiseptic gel for hand disinfection
Septaman Gel is a colorless alcoholic preparation (70% ethyl alcohol) antiseptic bactericide without rinsing ready to use ready to use for instant and effective disinfection of the hands, suitable for frequent use, especially in the healthcare field.
It has excellent skin tolerability, even after prolonged use the skin of the hands remains soft and smooth, thanks to the emollient and superfatting substances present in the preparation that avoid skin cracking, helping the regeneration of the lipid constituent of the skin as well as the reactivation of the physiological pH.
Septaman Gel is formulated without allergenic substances: it does not contain perfumes, essences or dyes that could cause allergic reactions.
Septaman Gel is extremely practical to use as it does not require the addition of water for washing or rinsing. The gel is indicated for:
1. Antisepsis of the hands: rub 3 ml of septaman on dry skin for 30 seconds and let it dry.
2. Surgical hand disinfection: with 3 ml of product, evenly spray the skin of dry hands and forearms, rub for 45 seconds and let dry.
Repeat the action a second time, for a total of 90 seconds.
Septaman Gel is suitable for the disinfection of the hands of healthcare workers in general and in the surgical environment. Septaman Gel can also be used in the home, thanks to its ease of use. In the healthcare environment it is used in all departments where hygiene is important.
Antimicrobial properties
Alcohols generally possess excellent in vitro antimicrobial activity against gram + and gram - bacteria, including drug-resistant pathogens (eg MRSA and VRE), Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and various fungi.
As demonstrated by specific biocidal activity studies, Septaman Gel effectively reduces the resident and transient bacterial flora of the skin, with bactericidal activity (gram + and gram- bacteria), yeasticide, and virucide.
